The Body Rhythm Approach

Change you can recognize, use, and sustain.

The body does not function in isolated parts. Movement, physical structure, the nervous system, and our responses to pain and restriction are interconnected.

At Body Rhythm, the focus is not simply on addressing symptoms, but on understanding how these relationships influence movement, function, and well-being.

Developed through years of hands-on experience, the approach integrates individualized movement, hands-on techniques, nervous-system-informed practices, and education.

The goal is not only to create change, but to help people recognize it, integrate it, and maintain it.

Simple, practical tools can be self-administered when needed—without turning recovery into another demanding daily routine.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is GYROTONIC®?

GYROTONIC® is a movement method done on specially designed equipment that stretches and strengthens the body at the same time. The movements are circular and flowing, like swimming or dance, and work every joint through its full range of motion.

How is GYROTONIC® different from Pilates or yoga?

Pilates and yoga mostly move in straight lines and held positions. GYROTONIC® moves the spine and joints in spirals and arcs, which is closer to how the body moves in real life. It builds strength and flexibility together, with less strain on the joints.

Do I need to be flexible or fit to start?

No. Every program starts from where you are today. Many clients come in with pain, stiffness or a recent injury, and the work is adjusted to your body session by session.

What is MPS (Dolphin) therapy and does it hurt?

MPS (Microcurrent Point Stimulation) uses a small handheld device to send gentle microcurrent impulses to acupuncture and trigger points. It is drug-free and non-invasive. Most people feel a light tapping or tingling sensation.
